Chaffey Bros La Resistance GSM
This is definitely a Grenache-driven GSM! Subtle toasty oak and caramel lead to a deep-fruited, dark cherry and strawberry palate with hints of aniseed and turkish delight. Gentle refreshing acidity gives great line and drives the brooding and delicious fruit through to a lingering finish. The majority of the Grenache is from an old cool Williamstown vineyard on the border of the Adelaide Hills. Blended with Grenache from a special Krondorf Road vineyard. Early harvest Syrah is from a 69 year old Ebenezer vineyard and from the Heinrich vineyard in the Lyndoch foothills, which unites with the lovely blue-fruit characters of Syrah from a small Northern Eden Valley vineyard on the outskirts of Angaston. The remaining 4% is a selected barrel of powerful spicy Mourvèdre.

Chaffey Bros. was born from Daniels dream to revive the name and the innovation of his great-great grandfather and his brother the original Chaffey brothers who founded Mildura in 1887. Together with his brother-in-law Theo Engela they now form the new iteration of Chaffey Bros. They love telling stories, and each of their wine labels reveals details about the vineyard, variety, region or history.
Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Village
A delicious example of this gamay-based light red from southern Burgundy. Raspberry and plum aromas are direct and fruity, and the palate is light with a lingering, fragrant aftertaste.
Catena Malbec
Catena Malbec combines rich dark berried fruits together with hints of violet on the nose. Complex layers of blueberry and blackberries on the palate finishing with silky tannins and hints of dark chocolate, vanilla notes. Latin America has been known to produce some fiery temperaments, but theres something really cool coming out of Argentina - Malbec is what were getting into right now. Malbec is well suited to Australian tastes, it loves a steak, and offers big, bold vibrant notes. We think this is one Latin American youll get along with famously.

This blend is unbaked which highlights the natural fruity character of the wine. There's lots of spicy cherry notes with blackberry and plum. Serve with slow-roasted pork shoulder and lots of greens. The Guigal family owns vineyards in prime locations throughout the Appellations of Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage and Saint-Joseph from where their iconic wines are produced. The Guigal cellars are located in the centre of the town of Ampuis, on the right bank of the Rhône River, about 40 km south of Lyon. The Côtes du Rhône region stretches 200 km from Vienne in the north to Avignon in the south. Côtes-du-Rhône is the workhorse red of the southern Rhône Valley and is blended from up to 13 grape varieties, but usually leans heavily on grenache and syrah (Shiraz). Deep, bright, garnet-red in colour, it is a fresh, crisp wine with small soft fruit and spices. A full-bodied, elegant wine, with mellow tannins, warmth and aromatic intensity.
