Auld Family Wines William Patrick Barossa Shiraz

The William Patrick is the Auld Family's flagship Shiraz, paying homage to Australian wine pioneer William Patrick Auld. This rich Barossa shiraz reflects the regions famed soils, with grapes taken from vineyards on the Valley floor. A full-bodied, soft, thick-set, unapologetically warm-climate shiraz.

St Hugo Barossa Valley Shiraz

St Hugo collection, full-bodied wines of power and elegance. Crafted for those who enjoy the finer things in life, this fine Australian red wine was lauded for the depth, intensity and ability to age gracefully. The wine has a total maturation in oak for 18 months.

Laughing Jack Barossa Valley Moppa Hill Block Shiraz

This superb single-vineyard Shiraz is sourced from a six-acre plot that was replanted in 2001. Sadly, the original 1912 vineyard was ripped out in the mid-1980s thanks to the SA governments now-notorious vine pull scheme. Here in the Moppa sub-region the grapes grow on sandier soils than in Greenock (a mere 2km away as the crow flies) producing more perfumed wines with finer tannins. This release is no exception. The fruit was harvested on the 22nd of February and was 100% de-stemmed. The whole berries were sent to small open-top fermenters, and were hand-plunged three times per day. After 18 days on skins the wine was basket pressed into barrel. The wine rested for 20 months in French (25% new) and American hogsheads.

50 Year Old Vines Shiraz

Elegant rose and violet nose with bright mulberry and cherry notes. The detailed, balanced and restrained palate shows good depth of fruit flavour while the palate shows subtle tannin and structure. Great with any meat or just drink by itself. Drink now or age for 5 - 10 years.

Auswan Creek Big Golden Rabbit Barossa Valley Shiraz

A classic Barossa Valley Shiraz from an excellent vintage. The year is dry which lead to a low yield, producing high quality fruit. Deep ruby colour with purple hues, roasted hazelnuts and spice come to the fore. The concentrated red and black fruit balanced by integrated oak flavour brings the wine together harmoniously on your palate. It opens along with decanting and breathing, changing, evolving with proper ageing. Enjoy now to ten years cellaring.

Ben Glaetzer Anaperenna

Glaetzer Anaperenna is a seamless fusion of the two varieties Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Voluptuous, opulent and yet refined, with a very long and satisfying finish. The name Anaperenna has been inspired by Anna Perenna, the Roman goddess of the New Year. Anna Perenna symbolises the year's cycle and her name translates as 'enduring year'. Romans honoured Anna Perenna with a festival held on the first full moon of the Roman calendar. On March 15th they would ask Anna to grant them longevity, and a healthy year for each glass of wine they drank on that day. The symbol on the label is the Egyptian Ankh (pronounced: onk). Historically the ankh symbolised sunrise, regeneration, regrowth and renewal.
