St Hugo GSM is aromatic and bright, yet exudes the style and pedigree which are hallmarks of the St Hugo label. Little hints of cedar and tobacco sit deftly around determined, full throttle fruit density. St Hallet at their best - unashamedly broad and imposing while remaining stylish, complex, and relinquishing no ground when it comes to sophistication.

Made from single vineyard to bottle. Low yields cool climate grapes from Nangkita. Deep sandy soil and limestone beneath, rich in elements for natural aromas and flavours. The wine is dark plum with lifted complex oak aroma. The palate has full flavour with rich berry fruit, warm, rich and intense. Upfront and splendidly appealing, the wine shows blackberry, sweet cherry, rich floral and vanillin oak notes, followed by a beautifully weighted palate that's plump and juicy, finishing lingering and silky. The “Linteau” wine comes from the southern part of the Rhône region, near the famous village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. It starts off with aromas of fresh spices and herbs then, turns plummy and chocolaty on the palate. The Grenache gives a wonderful velvety structure while the Syrah adds superb aromas of spices. One of the bast examples going around. Incredibly ripe and sweet fruited bouquet and palate, showing Grenache's love for the heat; soft and ripe, warm and fleshy, with a splash of savoury spice to conclude.

Colour is deep red. The nose shows aniseed, tar, FruChocs and spicy oak. The fine palate entry has mulberry, cranberry, aniseed and liquorice flowing delicately with Rhone-like spicy, chewy, savoury tannins.
