Crafted from grapes grown on the best block of 50-year-old Timbervines Vineyard, Margan White Label Shiraz proudly flaunts a brick red colour. Matured in old French oak barriques, the wine captivates you with aromas of tobacco leaf, blackcurrants and cassis flowing from the nose. Its rich & savoury palate is full of white pepper, licorice & blackberry characters, firm tannins, and cigar box notes, subtly balanced by crisp as well as lingering acidity. The Leogate Estate Black Cluster Shiraz is made from grapes grown on our own 50-year-old historic Black Cluster Vineyard in the Hunter Valley.This single vineyard sits at the foothills of the Brokenback Mountain Range and the grapes are carefully selected from individuals old vine Shiraz blocks, then fermented and matured using a selection of new and older French and American oak barrels.This is a rich red wine displaying layers of red and blue fruits that are well complemented by the sweetness and structure from the oak barrels. The presence of fine tannins and spicey note contributes to the seamless palate, delvering a wine of greater character, intensity and balance.

This is a rich red wine displaying layers of red and blue fruits that are well complemented by sweetness ands tructure from the oak barrels. The presence of fine tannins and spicy notes contributes to the seamless palate, delivering a wine of greater character, intensity and balance. The wine is ready for immediate drinking but also has excellent potential for careful cellaring up to 10+ years.

The wonderful Italian grape, Sangiovese, is one of the oldest known varieties in the world. Its beauty lies in its ability to produce wines that are highly concentrated in flavour yet have a lighter, more approachable structure than Cabernet or Shiraz. This Sangiovese is a perfect example of this accessible, ready to drink style. The grapes were crushed to open fermenters and approximately 30% of the juice was removed to produce our Sangiovese Rose. The remaining juice was fermented on skins for 10 days. The wine was then pressed and transferred to 1 and 2 year old French barriques. The wine was racked frequently to aerate and soften the tannins. This Sangiovese is imbued with sweet cherry and leather tones and loaded with fabulous smoky chocolate and mushroom characters. The savoury tannins and complex fruit characters make this an ideal food wine. Great with any tomato based dishes.

This 2021 Mount Pleasant Tempranillo Touriga from Hunter Valley is a vibrant and complex red wine. On the nose, it offers aromas of cherry, dried herbs, and earthy notes. The palate is full and well-structured with flavours of blackberry, plum, and cedar. The finish is smooth with just a touch of spice. The colour is a deep ruby with a purplish hue. This wine is the perfect accompaniment for roasted meats and hard cheeses. Enjoy!
