Billy Button Tempranillo
Billy Button Sangiovese
Motley Cru Pinot Noir
Santa & D'Sas ish Sangiovese
Aromas of cherry, raspberries, red plum and sweet herbs are supported with lifted oak spice notes. Flavours of red plums, cherry and fig define the palate along with integrated varietal fine-grained tannins. A medium to full bodied wine that is complex and textural, with bright acid and a balanced finish.
Brokenwood Pinot Noir
This wine is bright in colour with youthful tints and medium density. The Beechworth Pinot Noir is consistent with its lifted cherry fruit with the oak very much in the background. The red fruit spectrum continues on the palate with Campari like savoury fruit. Soft tannins make for a very enjoyable young, vibrant Pinot Noir.
Redbank King Valley Chardonnay
Single Vineyard high altitude Chardonnay from the King Valley is harvested in the early morning cool hours and pressed immediately to maximise the vineyards flavour. Full rich aromas of lemon and peach and gentle oak. The complexity of this Chardonnay is the result of partial barrel fermentation in new, French oak barriques, followed by stirring of the yeast lees for several months. Bursting with white peach, lychee and melon, the crisp finish and length of flavour define this wine.
Redbank Sunday Morning King Valley Pinot Noir
Soft red colour. Aromas of fresh strawberries, red fruits and dark cherries. The palate is fresh and lively displaying hints of red fruit and spices, finishing with soft tannins. Pair with a fresh cheese board with creamy brie or goat’s cheese. Try your luck with duck too! The generosity of fertile soils and the versatile environment results in contemporary wines of regional distinction, freshness and minerality.
Pizzini La Familia Sangiovese Shiraz
The 2023 Pizzini La Familia Sangiovese Shiraz is a bold and complex wine hailing from the King Valley region in Victoria. Its deep ruby color is a testament to its rich and full-bodied nature. On the nose, this wine offers an enticing bouquet of ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, and a hint of spice. The palate is equally impressive, with a smooth and velvety texture and flavors of black cherry, plum, and a touch of vanilla. The combination of Sangiovese and Shiraz grapes creates a unique and harmonious blend that lingers on the finish. This wine is a true reflection of Pizzini Wines' commitment to producing exceptional wines from the King Valley. Enjoy this wine now or cellar it for years to come. Perfect for pairing with hearty Italian dishes or a juicy steak.
Pizzini Sangiovese
Fred Pizzini grew up in Italy and is bringing the taste of his homeland to the Australian dining table. His Sangiovese is one of the best examples in the country, with spicy, savoury fruit hiding a vein of mouth watering acid that is a hallmark of the variety. Delicious now - and will get better with bottle age!
Dal Zotto Sangiovese
Dal Zotto Sangiovese is mid garnet with a purple hue; the savoury bouquet is immediately reminiscent of Tuscany with briary red fruits, sour cherry in particular, sage and thyme and a little earthy complexity adding interest; the palate is medium-bodied and fleshy on entry, with the crunchy tannin and acid of the variety providing an engaging and savoury platform to conclude; will handle a huge array of flavours, from light to full blooded.
