The Leogate Estate Black Cluster Shiraz is made from grapes grown on our own 50-year-old historic Black Cluster Vineyard in the Hunter Valley.This single vineyard sits at the foothills of the Brokenback Mountain Range and the grapes are carefully selected from individuals old vine Shiraz blocks, then fermented and matured using a selection of new and older French and American oak barrels.This is a rich red wine displaying layers of red and blue fruits that are well complemented by the sweetness and structure from the oak barrels. The presence of fine tannins and spicey note contributes to the seamless palate, delvering a wine of greater character, intensity and balance.

Dalwood Estate Shiraz is from the rich red soils of the Hunter Valley. Current vintage was warm and dry with low yielding and concentrated fruit. Deeply coloured with red fruits and spice followed by a seamless palate with well integrated oak.

Region Hunter Valley Tasting Notes A hot dry 2017 vintage in the Hunter resulted in very ripe shiraz of our Pokolbin vineyard. Dark plum aromas and cedar notes from twelve months in french oak hogsheads showcase its red fruits andearthy characters on this soft elegant palate with a dry finish. From a fantastic vintage in the Hunter Valley, the Tyrrell's Wines Shiraz 2014 has been crafted in a distinctive Hunter Burgundy style by red winemaker Mark Richardson. In the glass: Medium density red.On the nose: Black cherry, plum, earth, leather and pepper.On the palate: Unashamedly medium weight and very savoury with a fine, velvety texture showing red and black fruit flavours with earth and spice elements, fine tannins and a persistent finish. A true Hunter Burgundy style.
