The Malabar Chardonnay grapes are grown on the 50 year old, low yielding vines found in the H5 Block of Leogate Estates Brokenback Vineyard in The Lower Hunter Valley. The wine is a vibrant, fresh expression Hunter Valley Chardonnay with a mix of peach and pear flavours, softened on the palate by carefully used French oak barrels. A component of the wine underwent wild fermentation adding complexity and giving the wine a lingering finish.

Stylish and elegant Victorian Chardonnay with 94pts and 91pts from the Plenty region just out of Melbourne. "Stylish and elegant, the inviting bouquet shows ripe peach, lemon peel, nougat, and roasted almond characters. The Stockhausen Chardonnay was created by Briar Ridge in a style paying homage to the pioneers of the Hunter Valley around 40 years ago. It is rich and creamy with ripe peach and tropical notes.
