First made in 1959, Penfolds Kalimna Shiraz is an icon in the field of warm-climate Shiraz. Always ripe, robust and generously flavoured. The Bin 28 is named after the Kalimna vineyard that was purchased back in 1945 and from which the original fruit was sourced from. Today, the Bin 28 is a great example of the Penfolds dedication to multi-region, multi-vineyard blending. The Barossa Valley will always remain an integral part of the Bin 28 blend providing rich, vibrant primary fruit flavours.

This Shiraz wine by Collector lively crimson colour is accompanied by a fragrant bouquet of dark cherry, blackberry, pepper and aniseed, with a savoury, textured mouth feel.

Grenache has long been a stalwart of the South Australian wine scene and Penfolds have been blending Grenache with Shiraz since the 1950's. Recent years has seen a growing trend for the luscious perfumed styles like those emanating out of the northern Rhône and the Bin 138 produces a brilliant example. Krinklewood Shiraz is a deep plum coloured wine from Hunter Valley. The bouquet of this classic red offers spiced aromas of plums, cherries, forest timber and dried apple. The well-structured palate exhibits velvety-smooth tannins layered over vibrant fruit characters. The wine has a bright, engaging and lengthy finish. This medium-bodied wine will continue to develop with careful cellaring. Pair it with barbecues, grilled meat, lamb chops or pork tenderloin.

A Gold and Bronze medal winner, Three Ponds Holman Shiraz was only made in very small quantities in years worthy of the Holman Estate label. Flaunting a dark purple colour in a glass, this Hunter Valley Shiraz has aromas and flavours of dark berries, chocolate, tobacco and saddle leather. Open fermentation and ageing in the finest French oak barrels has provided it with a great cellaring potential. It tastes best when paired with beef, lamb or poultry dishes.

Mount Eyre Vineyards combines a European family tradition of winemaking with a generation of experience in Australia. This 'Nero' is testament to their history.Mid purple. Dark berries, liquorice, confectionary and crushed red petals. Mid weight with plum, black cherry and blackberry, hints of anise, Chinotto and bakers spice, fine-grained tannins and a long, silken finish. Deliciously drinkable!

St Hugo Cabernet Shiraz displays a dark ruby red with purple hues. The bouquet of dark forest fruits such as plum, blueberry and cassis lead into a beautifully complex palate of blackcurrent, sweet plum and chalky tannins. There is a underlying savoury oak hint and a finish of lingering dark chocolate.

The Aberfeldy vineyard is located only 5 kilometres from the town centre of Clare and was planted way back in 1904 by the Birks family of Wendouree fame. This single vineyard Clare Shiraz is rich and full bodied with hints of mulberry, blackberry and vanilla. An impressive wine with great cellaring potential.

Tucked away nicely in the Adelaide Hills, Sidewood Estate have made an art form out of crafting some of the very best single vineyard cool-climate wines available in Australia. Owen and Cassandra Inglis purchased the boutique property in 2004 and immediately set about making their vision become a reality. Their Sidewood Shiraz displays that vision to perfection. Attention to detail is the key here which enables flavours of red cherry, currants and dark plum to shine through along with hints of cinnamon and spice. The texture is beguiling and gives promise to a wine that will age for up to a decade.
