The Ambassador Story Haselgrove’s very own estate selected Shiraz has been very proudly named after our Ambassador, Les Burdett OAM. All individually numbered, with proceeds from the sale of the 3,030 bottles donated to Les Burdett’s charity of choice – Variety, the Children’s Charity. Tasting Notes Aroma The nose is rich and opulent with complex blackberry and liquorice aromas. A hint of sweet nutty spice complements the fresh fruit. Palate A bright black fruit palate with supporting French oak and layers of sweet spice and chocolate. Complex and alluring tannins give structure and elegance with bright natural acidity providing a mouth-watering and moreish finish.

Classic Shiraz flavors of cherry and red plum fill a generous body, complemented by more subtle notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and raspberry. These elements come together to form a complex core with an elegant, soft, and velvety tannin structure, leading to a deliciously lengthy finish.

Very dark, vibrant, purple with a dense crimson hue. Pepper/spice on the nose with macerated berries and a hint of pink grapefruit. Plum pudding and Christmas spices. Rich and soft entry with fragrant red fruits, some fresh tarragon and clear cedar characters complemented by dark cacao. Juicy macerated blackberries, tempered with the soft idiosyncratic milky McLaren Vale Shiraz sweetness and roundness and spike of red citrus and cranberry notes. Z-Force is named in tribute to the Z Special Force, which was a special Australian Army unit created in World War Two to operate behind enemy lines. Z-Force’s members were from many countries and specialised in unique guerrilla warfare. Although disbanded after the war, Z-Force pioneered numerous operational techniques and tactics, many as daring as they were brilliant, that remain a model to this day. The surviving members of Z Special Unit last marched together on Anzac Day in Sydney 2010. The extraordinary bravery of their unit and its lost brothers are honoured in this wine, which is Zonte’s Footstep finest. Each bottle of this wine sold helps support the work of Legacy South Australia.

Shiraz By Farr is one of Victoria's premier cool-climate Shiraz's, made by the iconic Geelong winemaker, Gary Farr. The nose is incredibly complex showing notes of red and black fruits, spice, black pepper and iodine. In the mouth the wine is incredibly fresh. Wonderfully braced fruit and fine framing tannins and an outstanding length.

A new label and new take on a classic. The Eileen Hardy Shiraz is juicy, plump and full of life with a magnificent backbone of tannin and spice without being overbearing. A classic in the making.

The Nugan family is dedicated to showcasing the best vareitals from our finest growing regions. Dry warm sunny days with cool nights produced optimum fruit flavours. After picking, the Shiraz was crushed and softly bag pressed in traditional style to avoid the extraction of bitter tannins. The wine was fermentated in static fermenters, followed by further maturation with new and seasoned French and American oak prior to final blending.
