Red Hill Estate Heathcote Shiraz

Picked from selected premium vineyards for optimum quality, this wine is deep purple in colour with aromas of dark cherry & raspberry. Subtle hints of spice & white pepper lead to an intensely flavoured, well rounded yet relatively soft mouth feel of dark fruits, blackberries & oak influenced raspberries. Medium bodied with a balanced acidity and lingering length, this selection perfectly reflects of both the Heathcote region & the renowned quality of Red Hill Estate.

Heathcote Cravens Place Shiraz

Vibrant dark red purple colour, Cravens Place is the perfect depiction of balance. Fresh aromatics of raspberries and blackberry primary fruits, hints of confectionary and cedary cinnamon spice are enticing. These high impact aromas lead on to a palate that shows depth of flavour, fruit concentration and silky supple integrated tannins. One of the first commercial wineries in the region, Heathcote Winery was established in 1978. The winery was purchased in 1997 by a group of independent wine enthusiasts where wines reflective of Heathcote region became the focus. As the name suggests, this winery is located in the Heathcote vineyard region of Victoria, and owns two vineyard sites within the GI. Newlans Lane Vineyard and Slaughter House Paddock make up 18 hectares of land under vine. Newlans Lane is planted to multiple varieties, Slaughter House to just Shiraz. The pioneers of Heathcote have created superb shiraz, reflecting minimal intervention, and the natural attributes of the area have been prominent in the wines. Heathcote Winery shares this passion to produce great shiraz from their own vineyards, but with an individual handprint that stamps the wine as Heathcote Winery Heathcote Shiraz.

Tar & Roses Sangiovese

Tar & Roses can not only be used to describe the wonderful Meditteranean aromas and flavours of this Heathcote winery, but also the wonderful team of Don Lewis and Narelle King! This Heathcote Sangiovese shows the classical sour cherry flavours with a balanced and integrated structure that is crying out for a antipasto plate.

Beresford Shiraz

Beresford pride themselves on passionately capturing the pure varietal expression and the essence of their terrior to deliver a Shiraz of timeless elegance and muscular complexity. Quintessentially McLaren Vale, the wine has a rich, full palate brimming with dark berry fruits, coffee and spice characteristics finishing with soft, lengthy tannins. A cracking wine of great substance and exceptional balance.

De Bortoli Woodfired Tempranillo

With soft fruit and fine tannins, Woodfired Tempranillo has modern grainy flavours, ample structure and savoury tannins. This wine will pair perfectly with dishes like chargrilled chorizo and Manchego cheese.

Tyrrell's Estate Grown Shiraz

The 2021 Estate Grown Shiraz is a blend from Tyrrell's Short Flat, Weinkeller, and NVC Vineyards. These dry grown blocks were planted in 1968, 1970 and 1996. These three blocks produce a modern style of Shiraz that has both richness and approachability and pays homage to the classic Hunter River Burgundies (HRB) of the mid-twentieth century.
