Bright red fruits with flavours of red licorice and fennel. Powerful aromatics give this wine a really unique drinking experience.

Produced from Nero d'Avola and dried Nero d'Avola grapes grown on the best sites in western Sicily. The grapes are dried in two historical ways, depending on their origin. Some grapes are left to hang and dehydrate on the vine while others are hand harvested and left to dry on racks for 15 days. The wine is vinified in a very gentle way allowing the wine to display both intensity of flavour and early approachability. The lavish fruit flavours of damson, black cherries and black currants match very well with rich meat based sauces.

Fabrizio Vella is a passionate winemaker living and working in Sicily. Proud of the island that he calls home he wanted to create a wine range that was personal to him, that reflected where he was from. Working with indigenous varieties of Cattaratto and Nero d’Avola he conjured four wines using an organic approach and careful winemaking to create wines that are fresh, exciting, moreish and true to their origin. A Sicilian wine through and through. Harvested by hand. Yields are naturally limited by the winds and climatic conditions on the island and average around 80 quintal per hectare. Vineyard sites are situated at an altitude of 350-450m, ensuring cooler night time temperatures which preserve crucial acidity in the grapes. The average age of the vineyards are 7 years old. wines tend to be harvested earlier than many of their neighbours and consequently they are bright and fresh with no jammy, baked flavours. Fermented in wooden barrels, 70% crushed and 30% the whole bunches. A temperature controlled fermentation to reach 28°C. A natural fermentation without the addition of yeast, which takes around 10 days, then the malolactic ferment starts with skin contact for 1 month. Aged in neutral oak for 8 months. A natural wine with a complex nose, which is spicy and packed full of punchy liqouirice, chocolate, and dark fruits. Crisp, pleasant and persistent in the mouth.

This Rosato is an enchanting petal pink but has an intense and lifted nose of wild cherry and nuances of minerality. The palate is fulfilling, juicy with notes of garden herbs wrapped around the cranberry and cherry-imbued core. It finishes dry and fresh supported by a gentle hint of tannin.

Bright garnet colour, with vibrant notes of black and red soft berries and a hint of violet, the palate is succulent but fresh with more floral and berry notes and a touch of red liquorice. Smooth and finely weaved tannins add longevity and depth to the finish.

Blackcurrant, red earth and gravel. Soft fine tannins, spicy oak, and a long fine finish.

Zisola is made only from traditional "Alberello" (bushy) vines grown near Noto, an unique area to make wine. The proximity of the sea and the soil rich in limestone allow to best balance the natural Nero d'Avola exuberance, with a great freshness and elegance. Well built, forest fruits and sunny orange peel flavors, long and layered taste

Salmos is a Priorat wine, a blend between Carignan, Grenache & Syrah, that manages to achieve an unparalleled balance between power and elegance. Dark ruby red. Rich, ripe wine with floral (confected rose) and fruit (dark cherries, prunes) aromas. Beautifully framed by French oak. Elegant, subtle midpalate, very finely structured tannins and a slight touch of toast (cocoa).

A beautifully elegant form of Shiraz from Picardy displaying notes or red fruits, cracked black pepper and spice. A fresh, vibrant wine with suede like silky tannins and a wonderfully lingering finish. Super stylish effort.
