A very appealing yellow/green tinted colour. Tropical aromas with plenty of primary fruit as a young wine. Minimal oak influence, of which adds a slight bran meal note. More tropical fruit on the palate, balanced by bright zesty acidity. An excellent and flavoursome Chardonnay.

Entirely sourced from Tyrrell's famous HVD vineyard. These dry grown blocks were planted in 1984 and 2003 and together they produce a modern style that has both richness and finesse.

Tasting notes: This wine is pale gold in colour with youthful green tinges. The aroma is fresh and intense with lime citrus and background of ripe peach fruit characters. The palate is clean and lively with a soft but crisp citrus acid finish Cellaring: This wine is ready to drink now, best drunk young while its perfume is most heady and the palate fresh. Food Accompaniment: Great with Asian cuisine, Mediterranean pasta, salad.

Born-and-bred Hunter Valley specialist, Aaron Mercer spent years at Tamburlaine, and had stints at Tyrrell’s and Brokenwood, before setting up on his own. He’s also worked in California, France and Germany so brings a great deal of experience to his winemaking, with a a great small-batch range from premium Hunter Valley sites, Tumbarumba and Orange. This classy, gently oaked Hunter Chardonnay boasts fresh peach, vanilla, and pannacotta flavours and a nutty edge.

A wine style that is rich and complex by nature and specifically crafted to capture the quintessential fruit and oak qualities of the wine. Yellow straw in color, this Cuvée is supple and light displaying notes of tropical fruits, rock melon, mango and pineapple as well as a crisp citrus character with a hint of oak. A beautifully crafted classic Hunter Chardonnay from a 5 red-star-rated master of the art! Andrew Margan bergan his winemaking career at Tyrrell's, set up on his own, was named the Hunter Valley Viticulturist of the Year in 2015 for the quality of his vineyards and his innovative viticultural techniques. This exceptionally well-made Chardonnay is partially fermented in new French oak for added texture and complexity.

Poured into a glass, this Chardonnay from Hunter Valley displays a bright lemon to lime colour. A swirl of the glass reveals white peach aromas that are enhanced by a gentle touch of cashew nut. As a whiff of the wine is followed by a sip, upfront peach and melon flavours impress you, that are held together by tight acidity. Consume this wonderful white wine within 2 to 3 years from vintage. Pair it with white meat dishes such as chicken and fish preparations.

Allandale from the Hunter Valley produce a lovely Chardonnay that has a great full body to it with nuances of peach and apricot and nice level of complexity due to the new American and French oak employed.
