Water Wheel Shiraz
Water Wheel is a historic winery located in the traditional wine region of Bendigo in central Victoria. Winemaker Peter Cumming continually produces a Shiraz with aromas of ripe berries, white pepper and chocolate that are also reflected on the palate which also displays attractive regional and varietal character. The depth of fruit and oak balance is excellent. Always a consistent performer, Water Wheel Shiraz is not only enjoyable upon release but is a reliable medium-term cellaring option.
Voyager Estate Shiraz
Voyager Estate Shiraz is deep red in colour with an explosive nose of oak blackberries and spice that is succeeded by a rich flavoursome palate and some chewy tannins. Will improve wonderfully with time.
Spinifex Bete Noir Shiraz
Spinifex Bete Noir Shiraz has a potent herb infused fruit on attack. Spiced red plum, cherry and sage flavours with a saline edge are carried on mid-weight frame of strong black tea-like tannin. Barossa Shiraz with even temper - displays fleshy, dark and generous fruit measured by ripe acids and drying tannin.
Mitchell Peppertree Shiraz
A densely layered wine, Mitchell Peppertree Shiraz will be a reward for cellaring. Spice and savoury characters are the features of this wine along with hints of plum blackberry and chocolate. Being packaged under stelvin a big bonus!
Vasse Felix Classic Dry Red
Vasse Felix produces fine Margaret River reds with great balance and style. This traditional blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon shows sweet mid-palate fruit with liquorice and spice and good tannin structure. Fantastic French oak integration enabling soft tannin complexity and a lovely length of flavour.
Robert Stein Mudgee Cabernet Sauvignon
A wine with distinct regional characters, Robert Stein Cabernet Sauvignon has core blackcurrant fruits and earthiness aromas on the nose. The deliciously ripe forest fruits and sweet spice fills the palate and the structured acidity and the grainy tannins add to a lengthy finish.
Robert Stein Shiraz
Shiraz grapes harvested in amazing growing conditions, with the fruit portraying great concentration, texture and balance. This juicy and flavour-filled vintage was used to craft a marvellous Shiraz wine showing a bold violet-red hue. Lifted red berry and spice notes flow off the bouquet, while the smooth palate structure features rich dark berry and chocolate flavours. This wine is fit for consumption upon release or can be cellared for about 8 to 10 years. Five-spice lamb, tandoori lamb chops and grilled bison dishes taste wonderful with this elegant Shiraz varietal.
Cumulus Climbing Shiraz
This exquisite Cumulus Climbing Shiraz shows a deep red colour, with purple hues lurking throughout. The luxurious bouquet exhibits scintillating aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, plums and dark chocolate in addition to hints of white pepper and spice. The lush and soft palate contains juicy flavours of ripe berries and plums coupled with leather, black pepper, mocha and subtle oak notes. These vibrant and savoury characters integrate with finely balanced tannins to end this delightful Shiraz in a delicate and captivating climax. With a cellaring potential up to 7 years, this wonderful red wine tastes amazing with roast or barbecued red meats, duck, game meats, and a variety of hard and blue cheese dishes.
