Kilikanoon Baroota Reserve Shiraz
16 Little Black Pigs White Blend
Elegant and refreshing with beautiful aromas of stone fruit, lifted peach, zesty pineapple and delicate citrus notes. Crisp and fresh mandarin jumps from the palate followed by pithy lemon. A zingy finish with lingering acidity.
Pink Duck Rosé
2021 saw the brand new release of Sam Trimboli’s first ever Rosé – and it was a smash hit! Customers went nuts, ordering case after case after case. And it wasn’t just customers who loved this new pink, the wine show judges did too. The Pink Duck Rosé waddled away with Gold and a massive 95pt at the Royal Queensland Wine Show. The 2022 is the fresh follow up vintage of the Pink Duck – highly anticipated by many to be another showstopping blush. True to Sam’s Italian heritage, it’s made from nearly all Montepulciano with a splash of Vermentino to add extra lemony zip. A pretty hue, lovely ripe fruit and zesty freshness. No need to fly north for this one, it’s glorious drinking in any season.
Russell & Suitor Franca's Vineyard Chardonnay
Alex Russell is turning out some really exceptional wines under his new Russell & Suitor label. We're really enjoying the Franca's Vineyard wines ... they're juicy, delicious and very very moreish. This Chardonnay is a prime example - it would be absolutely stellar with a cheeseboard at sunset.
Curtis Heritage South Australia Grenache
This is delightfully styled, showing sweet cherry, floral, olive and warm spice aromas, leading to a beautifully smooth palate that's rounded and flowing. A lovely expression of the variety with an immediate appeal. At its best: now to 2028
RedHeads Cats Bats & Dawn
The 5Os Project Nero Blend
It’s 100% grown in South Australia, but as winemaker Steve Grimley says, this lavish wine is Italy meets Portugal Down Under. It blends Italy’s famous Nero d’Avola (40%) and Sangiovese (10%), with Portugal’s Touriga (20%), adding in luscious Durif (20%) and inky Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). (Yes, Durif and Cabernet were originally French, but they’ve been here long enough to be considered true blue Aussies, so we’re not going to quibble.) “No fewer than 4 varieties join forces in this tiny-batch red. Where to start?” says Steve. “The approach I came up with was to focus on what it is like, not what goes into it.” Let’s just say that if you like you reds inkily rich and decadent, you will LOVE Nero! Don't miss your chance to try this opulent red
