Brookdale Semillon comes from Tyrrell's famous HVD vineyard which was planted in 1908. It nearly always produces Semillon that are floral, softer, and more approachable. The floral nose leads into a palate that is seamlessly balanced between soft Semillon fruit characters and a clean, light finish.

Pale yellow with a green tinge. Citrus blossom and passionfruit. Generous lemon, green apple and passionfruit flavours with a hint of lemongrass. Fresh lemon acidity forms the backbone to accompany the racy, green apple and passionfruit flavours. Some tannin presence on the back palate adds length and persistence of flavour. The Army Block Semillon is an isolated parcel from the highly regarded Black Cluster Vineyard in Pokolbin in The Hunter Valley. The grapes were handpicked from low yielding vines to minimise skin contact and preserve the fresh, delicate flavours of the variety and ensure excellent concentration of fruit flavour.​ ​
