This is a real crowd pleaser from Tyrrell's Wine. Plus one of the pioneers of the variety in Australia, Chardonnay. The Hunter Vally Moon mountain Chardy is a well crafted elegant wine with fresh green melon flavours and cleansing crisp acidity.

Pale yellow with a green tinge. Citrus blossom and passionfruit. Generous lemon, green apple and passionfruit flavours with a hint of lemongrass. Fresh lemon acidity forms the backbone to accompany the racy, green apple and passionfruit flavours. Some tannin presence on the back palate adds length and persistence of flavour. Made to be consumed while young and fresh. This to a range of seafood or as a refreshing partner to canapés.

The Scarborough Offshoot Verdelho starts with aromas of green tea with hints of tropical fruit, pink lady apples and honeysuckle. The palate shows botanical characters of sage, orange blossom, citrus rind, mint and lemon pith.

This Semillon from a sustainably farmed vineyard in the Hunter Valley region was hand picked from 40 year old Semillon vines. The grapes were then fermented with skins, pressed, and barrel aged for 3 months in old Chardonnay French oak. There was no additions, fining or filtration of the wine when bottled. The result is a textural, juicy wine with a zesty dry finish, with flavours of mandarin marmalade and a hint of lemon.

Winemaker's Selection Vat 1 Semillon only ever comes from the oldest and best blocks. The vines are all dry grown on their own roots, and date back to 1923.

The Army Block Semillon is an isolated parcel from the highly regarded Black Cluster Vineyard in Pokolbin in The Hunter Valley. The grapes were handpicked from low yielding vines to minimise skin contact and preserve the fresh, delicate flavours of the variety and ensure excellent concentration of fruit flavour.​ ​

Andrew Margan bergan his winemaking career at Tyrrell's, set up on his own, was named the Hunter Valley Viticulturist of the Year in 2015 for the quality of his vineyards and his innovative viticultural techniques.. The single vineyard, single variety wines in the Margan Family Vineyard range are crafted from old, low-yielding vines to showcase the Hunter’s unique terroir. This is a really mouthwatering white, crisp and fresh, light and lovely, with delicious lemony flavours shot through with light tropical notes.
