Ironhouse Vineyards White Sands Sparkling Rosé
Innovation paired with respect for the craft of wine making is the hallmark of Ironhouse Winery. Our White Sands Sparkling Rosé is no exception. Upon release this Sept 2021, we find that a displayed colour of pale salmon and peach compliment the presence of red apple and baked pastry aromas which seamlessly flow onto a crisp and fresh palate of sweetened fruit and Turkish delight. Perfect as an aperitif, an afternoon with friends or paired with subtle seafood dishes. Predominately, our signle plot vineyard Pinot grape is used here with a touch of Chardonnay to bring a subtle nuance of flavours ripe for Australian summers. Grown & produced at our Ocean facing vineyard which rests under the watchful gaze of Paddy's Head nature reserve on Tasmania's pristine East Coast, the terroir of the region and natural amphitheatre are quintessential for growing our colder climate grapes which we find perfectly reflected here. Haselgrove Wines H by Haselgrove Brut
TASTING NOTES AROMA White peaches and tropical fruit flavours, with hints of lemon curd and toasted wafer. PALATE Creaminess on the palate with a fresh fruit finish, integrated with tropical notes of mango, pineapple, and zesty acid. The bead is fine and persistent. Carefully blended parcels of Chardonnay combine to produce a Blanc de Blanc with rich fruit, soft full flavours and complex characters. Enjoy Chilled. Great as an aperitif and enjoyed with friends.
Bone Dry Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay
Fruit is machine-picked at night to ensure cooler temperatures and retain fruit aromatics. On arrival at the winery, the fruit is gently pressed to minimise phenolics and maximise fruit flavour and delicacy. All base wines undergo 100 percent malolactic fermentation and remain on lees until required for blending and stabilising. The final base wine components are then bottle fermented and spend a short period on tirage lees, providing further yeast complexity in the final wine.
