This blend from Fleurieu and Adelaide Hills with bright ruby red and violet hues is medium bodied, dominated by fruit aromas of cherries and red currants with savoury notes of baked quince and dried herbs.

Baroota Creek Cabernet Shiraz is a big wine jam packed with fruit flavours, blackberries, cherries, raspberries, even a hint of rhubarb and spice, all reminiscent of Grandma's signature Christmas cake. This wine showcases Flinders Run's signature style, big and bold but with an elegance that resonates sophistication style and class. A gentle swirl of the glass reveals an impenetrable depth of colour, the wine exhibits glass staining purple hues with a bright and vibrant ruby red rim. This Shiraz though is sourced from the Cambrian rich soils of Heathcote, a region which has quickly become one of Australia's premier Shiraz growing areas. Dark berry and spice dominated, there are underlying notes of pepper and crushed herbs. Fermented in 100% French Oak, there is a subtlety to this Shiraz that lends itself to many cuisine matches.
