Monkey Rock Winery Duck Duck Goose Shiraz Tempranillo
Made from a blend of Frankland WA grown Shiraz and handpicked bushvine Tempranillo. Each wine was allowed to ferment naturally on skins using only the wild yeast then they were basket pressed and blended. The Shiraz provides body and complexity to the tannin component of the lighter Tempranillo. The result is a fruit driven, unoaked red with berry and spice elements, great texture, and a bright acidity.

Marqués de Riscal Reserva Rioja
The Reserva Tempranillo blend from iconic Riojan producer, Marqués de Riscal is made from fruit sourced from outstanding vineyard sites that are in excess of 15 years of age. This fruit is able to withstand the lengthy maturation process in oak due to the fine, complex tannin and acid structure. The resulting wine is classically savoury with notes of dark berries and toasty oak. The palate is long and rounded with interesting hint of spice.

The 2018 Extreme Ways Tempranillo has red fruits: cherries, raspberry, mulberry and earthy fresh leather complexity. There is also underlying cardamom and some white flowers. The succulence is balance by fine graphitic tannins with a gentle drying dustiness on the long finish.
