Domaine Dubost is a fourth generation estate and has been managed by the hands of Jean-Paul Dubost since he took over from his father in 1993. They farm approximately 19 hectares, nine of which are from the village appellation. The rest of the land is split between Brouilly, Moulin à Vent, Morgon, and a little in Regnié. He has been transitioning to biodynamics since 2005 and ferments all of the wines with natural yeasts. The crus are made without sulphur or other additions. Jean-Paul Dubost Beaujolais-Lantignié Récolte is a red natural wine made from 100% Gamay grapes from the Beaujolais Village appellation called Beaujolais-Lantignié. Black cherry and bright raspberry with a hit of heady, whole peppercorn spice, touch of cola and lovely burst of five spice that drives the inviting nose home. Super crunchy, raspberry fruit layered in with fine slippery tannins. Bursting with red fruit flavour, bright and bouncy. It's fine and tight with a lovely core of fruit that feels light and airy and at once concentrated and precise in its delivery. A fine Villages. BEAUNE & BEYOND.

Vibrant in colour the nose shows plum and berry fruit with spice pepper and well integrated oak. The palate has good fruit weight with attractive berry flavours and a fine tannin finish.

JEAN-PAUL BRUN Terres Dorees Cote De Brouilly, Beaujolais

Gamay is not widely grown in Australia but if there is a "benchmark" for the grape here it must be Sorrenberg. True to variety it is a lighter bodied style . Showing a lovely bouquet of aromatic fruit of red currants with a hint of cherry, this follows on the palate to include complex elegant acid and refined tannins.

High up in the Adelaide Hills, Paracombe is owned and operated by the Drogemuller family, which it has passionately done since 1983. Sourced from both estate and selected grower fruit, Paracombe Shiraz shows wonderful ripe fruit aromas with a delicate cool-climate aspect. Notes of cherries, plums, pepper and spice are notable along with a palate of layered spicy fruit and a fine tannin structure.

A classic Fromm Vineyard Pinot Noir, a multi-layered wine, very concentrated without appearing big or heavy, with positive tannin support. At its best it shows a masculine charm with a distinct terroir-related identity, aging superbly.
