Its colour is a bright ruby red. On the nose, it is clean and precise, with hints or morello cherries, wild berries and a moderate spiciness. The palate reveals a full and firm flavour, expressing all its intensity and elegance.

100% Grenache, made from a single plot of ripe Barossa fruit. Typically pretty and expressive on the nose, with a palate full of raspberry and spice supported by a backbone of grippy tannins.
Teusner Joshua Grenache Mataro Shiraz
Joshua was Teusners very first wine. Named for co-founder Mick Pages first son, Joshua is a blend of mostly old vine Grenache, a good measure of Mataro and a dollop of Shiraz. Unoaked and released young, this wine carries with it the Teusner belief that the best Barossa wines are made when Grenache meets Shiraz meets Mataro.

Comando G Rozas 1er Cru Grenache
The Rozas 1er cru Garnacha is, as the name says, classified premier cru by Comando G. Elegant and poised, this wine is a step up in classification and altitude, sitting above the Rozas Villages vineyards close to the ceiling beyond which growing grapes isn't really viable. The brick-red tinge to the colour bring Langhe to mind, Nebbiolo specifically, and there are more hints of that in the glass. The colour and the approachability owe a lot to the greater presence of silt midst the layers of granite. For the 1er cru, the vines are older, the soils are lighter and the altitude of the vineyard is higher than the village showing that signature highwire Sierra de Gredos/Comando G acidity.

Our grapes are carefully selected from the low yield bush vines of over 60 years old and grown at a high altitude of 1090m above sea level on red soil rich in iron oxides upon a layer of calcareous rock. The combination of these elements creates a wine that can enrich the tasting experience beyond the most ambitious expectations.VINIFICATION = Soft stalk stripping. Maceration fermentation for 25 days.
