Punt e Mes Aperitivo
Punt e Mes is an Italian vermouth, dark brown in color and has a bitter flavour. Punt e Mes literally means "point and a half" in Piedmontese, referring to the flavor being characterised as one point of sweetness and half a point of bitterness. It can be used as a substitute for regular rosso vermouth in drinks such as the Manhattan. Punt e Mes has a strong, distinctive flavour, half-way between regular rosso vermouth and Campari.

Château Lanessan Haut-Médoc

The great thing is that you don't have to worry too much about 'questionable' vintage when looking at this superb 2009. The Bordeaux Gods have definitely been smiling on communes and produced wines of utmost concentration and power. Lanessan did not miss out with the licquorice, spice and blackcurrant rich wine that will reward the Bordeaux bargain hunter for the next decade or more.
Château d'Arche Sauternes
Château d'Arche is an important part of Sauternes history with winemaking dating back to the 16th century. New treatments to the wines including maturing the wine for at least two years in casks, 40% of which are new help produce a wine of utmost concentration. The 2009 d'Arche is a seriously powerful wine with copious characters of marmalade, apricot and dense pineapple. Capturing the vintage perfectly, this is a Sauternes that requires a deeply flavoured cheese accompaniment.
Tariquet Classique VS Armagnac
This smooth and silky Armagnac, with its dried fruit and caramel aromas combined with spicy flavours and a fruit filled finish. Makes for a beautiful after meal drink to warm you on a cold winter night.
Château Les Ormes de Pez Saint-Estephe
A truly serious Bordeaux from the Saint Estephe appellation in the Northern Medoc. Dominated by tannin and acid at the moment, it will fill out to reveal all it's velvety richness in years to come.
Château de Rayne-Vigneau Sauternes
Château Rayne-Vigneau produce both a dry and sweet white wine on the estate with the sweet style taking all the accolades in recent years. Great vintages like the 2009 can produce a wine of sheer opulence and concentration. Layered honey, apricot and orange zest are all tighly packed in a Sauternes that is a perfect match for intense cheeses and flavoursome desserts.
Domaine Elian Da Ros Vignobles D'Elian Marmande
This is one of the gems produced by cult winemaker Elian Da Ros, who learned the art of winemaking at the prestigious Domaine Zind Humbrecht in Alsace before taking over the family vineyard. This luscious red is a blend of half Cabernet Franc, with the rest a split between Merlot and Syrah and matured for 18 months in old oak. Drink young for the sheer enjoyment.
