Mr. Killerman lived in a humble tin shed in the hills behind Kilikanoon. He foraged through the Clare Valley for his meals, finding wild rabbit and many other gourmet treats. Kevin Mitchell’s father Mort respected this man from the bush, as they both knew the secrets of the rich landscape. Killerman’s Run reflects the rich landscape and being at one with the environment by sourcing and blending wines from right across the Clare Valley into a seamless, natural and uncompromising wine.

Characteristic Cabernet flavours of blackcurrants and dark chocolate are highlighted with touches of mint-cream. Malbec brings richness and vibrancy of colour, with red fruit, raspberry, and spiced plums. Cabernet’s firm tannins is balanced nicely with the generosity from Malbec, giving the wine great volume and length.

Sourced from up to 100 year old bush vine Grenache. Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. Sailing from the glass are vibrant aromatics of raspberry, red cherry and red liquorice infused with fresh herbs followed by some delicate spicy earth notes. Rich succulent dark raspberry, ripe cherry and red liquorice fruits are delivered with excellent intensity across the mid weighted palate. Subtle notions of scorched earth and peppered dried herbs lie underneath. Polished tannins finishing with a nicely balanced youthful freshness and long juicy aftertaste. Winemaker Kevin Mitchell has set a new benchmark for Clare Valley Cabernet. A nose typical of cool climate Cabernet followed by generosity on the palate, all at a price that delivers great value for money.

This traditional blend has distinctive varietal characters of plums, coffee and dark chocolate with hints of violet flower. It is a wine of great length with textured soft tannins.

In the glass: Medium to deep red. On the nose: Red berry, plum, leaf and earth. On the palate: Bright and ripe with an excellent core of red and black berry fruit, savoury, mouth-watering tannins and vibrant persitence. Will improve over the next year or so as the tannins become more silken.

Produced by the iconic winemaker Neil Pike in acknowledgement of Neil's legendary father, Edgar Pike this elegant wine full of delicious blackcurrant, mint, and cedar flavours. Its fine grained tannins and balanced oak characters lend to the excellent lingering finish. Ideal match to marinated lamb or a gourmet beef burger.

Inspired by those delectable, food friendly blends from the south of France we have crafted a fresh and aromatic GSM that greets the drinker with savoury earthy aromas and succulent strawberries followed by hints of rosehip and fresh herbs. The true craft of the winemaker is the intricate art of blending. This wine is a prime expression of that artistic talent; the weaving together of various elements to enhance and complement each other resulting in a finished product far greater than the individual components. A cracker wine, fresh and juicy possessing crunchy tannins and savoury fresh mushroom character. The mid palate is full of floral red-currant fruit, with some choc-mint and fresh leather on the finish. This wine is unfiltered and matured for 10 months in older oak to preserve maximum primary fruit lift and intensity. An accessible wine of surprising length and complexity totally slurpable (yes it IS a word).
