As per the wine's name, this is a beautifully aromatic Pinot Gris with bright floral notes and a lovely balance in flavour and texture. Pale bright gold in appearance with green hints, with elegant aromas of stonefruits, pears, spring flowers, and a touch of peppery spice. Round, velvety and fresh on the palate, with notes of pear and white flowers perfectly balanced with hints of peach and nectarine. Serve at 10-12°C with seafood, fish, sushi, or as a pre-dinner aperitif.

Chateau d'Yquem
The harvest began very early, on the 5th September, and lasted 9 weeks. This made is possible to reflect all the diversity of a year in which both flowering and veraison were very spread out. Picking began especially early at Yquem in 2014. Some 25% of the crop was brought in before the 15th of September, providing a rare and precious background of acidity.
