The clean and fresh attack leads into a generous, full-bodied and voluptuous mid-palate on notes of honey and acacia blossom, building to a long, lingering and very harmonious finish.

Domaine Weinbach Cuvee Theo Riesling

Taking its name from the Capuchin friars who arrived in 1619, the Clos is protected from winds by the surrounding hills and by the walls enclosing it. The soils here consist of sand, alluvial pebbles and granitic gravel and this produces a Riesling as zippy, zesty and mineral-driven as it is fleshy. White peach, green and yellow citrus along with melon, kaffir lime and lemongrass notes. Lovely texture and a vibrant, fresh finish.

Château Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan Blanc

Château Haut-Brion was the one and only estate outside of the Médoc and Sauternes to be bestowed 1st Growth status in the original classification of 1855. The ageing propensity of this wine is not be underestimated and will last in a good cellar for at least 30 years.

Château Martinolles Limoux Chardonnay

Château Martinolles Limoux is bright gold in colour. On the nose - complex with tropical fruit aromas, oak, brioche and toast. To taste, full-bodied rich and creamy notes. Elegant with a long toasty finish and best served with seafood, white meat in creamy sauce or as an aperitif.

For the past 30 years, cousins Frédéric and Philippe Blanck have been in control, placing a sharp focus on the vines and the soil they grow in. Expressions of lemon, blossom, peach and apricot pips with a quench grapefruit zest. Zippy and zesty, The Paul Blanck Pinot Blanc is fresh and well balanced.

Château Mouton-Rothschilds dry Bordeaux white is made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle, all planted within 4.5 hectares of vines. It is one of the few Bordeaux whites that is subject to malolactic fermentation. Ripe, intense, and elegant, stone fruit and citrus dominate the palate of this wine, with a line of racy acidity to add freshness.
