The warm and dry 2017 vintage allowed perfectly ripe fruit to be harvested. The red plum and black cherry aromas lead to a fruit driven and softly textured palate with background vanillin and spice from oak barrel maturation.

Run Amok Shiraz shows the power and elegance of a great Hunter Valley vintage. Deep purple in colour with aromas of red and dark fruit. The palate displays flavours of earth, spice and dark berries with assertive tannins. These grapes were grown using Biodynamic practices and are Certified with the ACO. The wine was fermented naturally using wild yeast living in the vineyard. The wine was basket pressed and matured in small oak barrels for 12 months. The wine exhibits a ripe berry bouquet with a hint of white pepper on the palate. This wine will become well integrated and more complex with extended cellaring.

Classic expression of a Hunter Shiraz. Peppery, yet smooth. Medium-bodied, yet powerful. Intense berry aromas, with a hint of vanilla oak. Complex dark plum and cherry flavours, backed by firm tannins. Great length on the palate. Drinking nicely now, but will benefit from further careful cellaring.

This wine is medium bodied, brightly coloured with an array of berries pepper and spices on the nose combined with coffee aromas. The palate is soft and long with distinctly savoury characters, finishing with velvet tannins. It is a delicate wine, focused on balance and structure.
