Enjoy a beautifully balanced, lush, ripe citrussy Verdelho with a hint of honeysuckle from the Strout Rd vintners, who have taken fruit for this from Langhorne Creek, where the grape thrives. Verdelho, originally a Portuguese grape – most famously grown on the island of Madeira, where it was first planted in the 15th century. It has thrived in various Australian regions, including sites in South Australia, Langhorne Creek in particular, and the Hunter Valley, where it can produce luscious but refreshing whites when nicely balanced as this one is!

This Pinot Gris combines fruit from premium sites in Central Otago, including Maude's mature family owned vineyard in Wanaka, Mt Maude. This Pinot gris has typical aromas of ripe pear, quince and brioche lead onto a rich textured palate where whole bunch pressing and partial barrel fermentation has created complexity.

Xanadu Fusion Chardonnay gives an elegant bouquet full of pears, grapefruit and gala apples with underlying hints of nougat and cashew. The palate is medium bodied displaying white fleshed stone fruits and zesty citrus flavours. The wine offers an almost crystalline minerality, complimented by a lovely creamy/marshmallow texture derived from lees stirring whilst in barrel. Taut and fresh, the bright fruit and crisp acidity combine to focus the wine perfectly to a lingering fruit finish.

Sourced and grown in the Adelaide Hills, this is a fine example of how good Chardonnay from this region can be. This is a blend of 3 different cultivars of the Chardonnay grape. Bunch pressed and in part wild fermented. Partial malolactic fermentation imparts further complexity. A beautifully textured and complex wine.

This Gruner Vetliner by Longview has a brilliant clarity and pale straw colour. Aromas of pear, white pepper and celery notes are evident and the palate is dry and spicy with a lingering finish of white peach, underpinned with lovely refreshing acidity.

Taylors Pinot Gris is a strikingly varietal wine showing notes of baked apple and pear on the nose, with characteristic texture on the palate and soft acidity on the finish. Ideally suited to a whole range of foods, especially flash-barbecued prawns.

In the glass: Bright pale lemon. Om the nose: Musk and fresh white grape fruit lift. On the palate: Sweetly fruity and muscaty, soft and juicy with lots of confectionary characters. A good all-rounder that's lovely served well chilled.
