The Chalmers familys commitment to innovation and excellence has made them a pivotal force in the Australian wine scene for over 20 years. Their work in the field of alternative, particularly southern Italian varietals has contributed a lot to the success of this movement in recent years. Delicate yet savoury, the wine exhibits a nose of clean florals and wet stones. The palate exhibits minerally acidity and balances white nectarine and citrusy fruit with a zesty, dry finish.

In the glass: Bright pale lemon. Om the nose: Musk and fresh white grape fruit lift. On the palate: Sweetly fruity and muscaty, soft and juicy with lots of confectionary characters. A good all-rounder that's lovely served well chilled.

Macaw Creek Mount Lofty Ranges Organic Riesling displays a pale straw colour with green highlights throughout the wine. Floral aromas of Riesling grapes as well as fresh lemon, lime and citrus scents flow from the attractive bouquet, which is further balanced by a natural mineral acidity on the palate to end in a crisp and captivating finale. This enticing Organic Riesling tastes marvellous with oysters, grilled fruits and pan-fried whiting fish.

The Scarborough Offshoot Vermentino starts with aromas orange blossom, grapefruit, green pear and a hint of germanium. The full palate has lively acid followed by grapefruit and pears with a long crisp finish showing raw almonds and ginger.

Patrick Sullivan Chardonnay Baw Baw Shire Made from the south-facing slope of Patrick Sullivans Bull Swamp vineyard. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed to a new 2000 litre oval vat. Fermentation takes place over 10 days with full malolactic fermentation following immediately after. Cassis, dark plum and obviously Blackberry fruits aligning with enveloping, refined-yet-generous Cigar Box tannins. This is accented with perfumed cedary notes derived from the oak our wine is matured in. The result; a wine with elegance and poise. The fruit for Blackberry Patch comes from one block in the heart of the Langhorne Creek and another in the Blewitt Springs sub-region of the McLaren Vale. Primary fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel vats and 5 tonne open fermenters after which the wine is assembled into tank and allowed to complete a natural malo-lactic fermentation before being pressed off. It is then transferred to new & well-seasoned hogsheads and aged for up to12 months prior to bottling with minimal filtration. This results in a wine with purity of fruit that is regal and eminently satisfying to allow for regular indulgence. Zontes Footstep is a proudly independent Australian wine producer established in 2003. Their grapes are sourced from their own, as well as their neighbours' vineyards, from regions that produce the desired expressive, varietal characteristics of the grapes grounded by the soil they are planted in. Located in the McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills, the Barossa and further afield. The name comes from a mixture of things. In 1893 a vineyard was planted with Zante currant to produce table grapes for the growing population of Adelaide. In the 1920s the vineyard was replanted with wine producing varieties of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon which were eventually used to make the first Zonte's wine. As a tribute to the journey of the grapes in the vineyard (and because you arent legally allowed to mention a grape variety unless its contained in the wine) it was decided to change the A to an O ZONTES sufficiently similar. Then in1999, the vineyard was purchased and a plan to plant Viognier, Sangiovese and other new and exciting grape varieties was undertaken. Whilst replanting the vineyard some large boulders with footprints were discovered from the largest known marsupial to have ever lived, the Diprotodon. It was this unique fossilised FOOTSTEP that cemented the name and the journey of Zonte's Footstep was begun. Their aim is the diligent pursuit of producing wines that reflect a sense of place, style and purpose.

Produced in a truly Mediterranean climate on the south west corner of the beautiful island of Sardinia. From the esteemed house of Santa Margherita comes a Vermentino of quality, vibrancy and intensity, singing of fruit blossom and a salad bowl of orchard fruit. A mediterranean herbal note, a touch of minerality and a refreshing hint of salinity add great complexity and refreshment. Finishing crisply, this would play an excellent supporting role to your next seafood meal.
