This classic sparkling blend of predominately Chardonnay and some Pinot Noir has been used to create an elegant wine with lively lemon fruit characters, with an appealing yeast flavour, and a fresh clean finish.

Blackberries, currants and hints of raspberry are balanced against pepper and spice along with smooth French and American oak tannins to produce a wine with great depth of flavour. A pale straw colour, with aromatic pretty floral notes of nashi pears and a touch of sweet spice. Palate of a rich medium bodied fruit driven style, layers of passionfruit, pears, citrus blossom and musk layer around natural cool climate acidity. The fruit was whole bunched pressed and clarified before early bottling to capture the fresh fruit character.
