The Max Schubert Cabernet Shiraz is testament to Penfolds' winemaking philosophy and the art of multi-regional blending. The Mythology Shiraz is a tribute to ancient practices; its origins are in the richness of the Coonawarra soils and the artistry of traditional winemaking techniques. An opulent and complex palate of plum, ripe cherry and dark chocolate. The seamless oak integration and generous palate weight is complemented by persistent length and fine, chalky tannins.

2013 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Old Vines Shiraz. Deep purple, with a bright purple hue. Concentrated notes of dark cherry and blood plums, followed by raspberry, bay leaf and lavender. Dark and focused, filled with juicy and vibrant fruit. Blood plum and magnolia on the mid palate. Sleek, plush tannins frame bright fruit, creating a seamless, layered wine, indicative of its cool-climate home.

While almost all Australian Merlot in the bottle is made from one clone, this wine is made from a parcel of clones that are new to Australia. MERITE Merlot is a multi-clone blend that is built to showcase the qualities of these newer clones such as fine tannins and vibrancy. A Merlot pressings wine that is the ultimate selection from the 2015 vintage. Pressings from each clonal batch were blended with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon from the best barrel in the room. This selection process was based purely on merit and determined that a very limited number of bottles were made (745). A special limited production wine that will reward those committed to carefully cellaring it.

Hidden Ridge Cabernet Shiraz Merlot displays aromas of plum, dark cherry and raspberry. These dark berry fruit flavours surround the palate with subtle oak notes and leave a long, generous finish.
