On the palate the wine enters smoothly, with rich red fruits, followed by a nice silky mid palate mouth feel. Well-integrated oak contributes to the finish of the wine.Drinking wonderfully now, this wine has been carefully cellared and is being released as a premium Cottontail wine. Suitable for most meat dishes - including BBQ meat & roasts.

It showcases varietal aromas of spice and plum, whilst the palate displays concentrated berry characters with well-integrated American oak for eight months leading to a harmonious finish. Located within Murrumbateman in the now prestigious wine region of Canberra District, comes Eden Road who are well known for cool-climate, elegant style wines. Here their 'The Long Road' Syrah is actually sourced from vineyards that are both within the Canberra District and other nearby regions, like Hilltops. The result is a Syrah that is lifted in both aroma and flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberry. 14 months in older French oak has also provided a subtle savoury note with extreme elegance.

Lark Hill turn their winemaking skills and Biodynamic farming to the great (red) grape of Tuscany - Sangiovese. Red berry fruits, light tannins and a sumptuous palate give this wine a juicy, savoury character; perfect with grilled meats, pizza, pasta and charcuterie.This wine has been made for early drinking and does not require extensive cellaring.

The Canberra District has quickly established itself as the Australian home of Northern Rhône style reds, and most notably Shiraz Viognier. With the cool-climate and the elevated nature of the Lark Hill Vineyards, the extra viscosity attributed to the addition of Viognier to the Shiraz as well as the fragrant lift, work perfectly for this wine.

Spanish big guns, Remírez de Ganuza have produced a quite sublime old vine Tempranillo blend from the famed Rioja region that will defy all expectations. There are minuscule volumes produced of the Cirsion by Bodegas Roda (the name of the thistle which is Roda's logo) which is made from grapes specially selected for the suppleness of the tannins they deliver. Parcels selected are from low-yielding older Tempranillo vines of 45 years and more, from four vineyards. Choosing the plants with the softest tannins, this makes the wine very attractive and supple early on, but it still has great ageing potential.
