Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Chardonnay

Gimblett Gravels combines the French concept of terroir with modern day thinking to define, protect and market wine. In what is believed to be a first for winegrowers in the New World - wine growing countries outside Europe - Gimblett Gravels is basing the ultimate designation of their district according to a tightly specified soil type.

Craggy Range Gimblett Chardonnay

The Gimblett Gravels Chardonnay is made using very traditional winemaking techniques involving wild yeasts and the use of French oak barriques. The resulting wine is always finely flavoured and softly textured with a linear elegance that allows the wine to retain its freshness. Lovely aromatics of white flowers, peach, biscuit and flint. Integrated fresh flavours of stone fruits, lemon zest and roasted nuts create a generous and complex feel across the palate which is elegant and long on the finish.

Barringwood Tasmanian Cuvee Methode Traditionelle Non-Vintage

Salmon blush. Aromas of strawberries and cream. On the palate hints of toffee apple and citrus with a creamy mouth feel. In 2012 Vanessa and Neville Bagot were visiting Vanessas beloved home state of Tasmania, when they were made aware that Barringwood Park Vineyard (as it was then called) was for sale. A single visit to the stunning site along with wine tasting captivated them. Perhaps it is too simplistic to say they liked the wine so much they bought the vineyard, but its not too far from the mark. The first vines at Barringwoods original Lower Barrington vineyard were planted on the site of a working sawmill in 1993. Vanessa and Neville have planted two new vineyards in Evandale and Cranbrook, in addition to the original Lower Barrington plantings. Barringwood Vineyard has one of the longest growing seasons in Tasmania giving their wines delicacy and elegance along with a classic backbone of cool climate acidity. Since the first vintage in 1998, Barringwoods multi award winning single vineyard wines have consistently been among Tasmanias best.

Baked quince, cranberry and brioche meet citrus notes on the palate, while its fine structure persists all the way to a soft, dry finish.

Quartz Reef Methode Traditionelle Non-Vintage

Yellow in colour with a bouquet of Granny Smith with a hint of strawberries, creamy. Palate is refreshing, vibrant, moreish, poised with fruity acidity and lees. Bottle fermented and aged on lees. Riddled and disgorged by hand from early 2018. A sparkling wine exuding elegance and finesse. Pale yellow with a bouquet of Royal gala apple and hints of lime and brioche. On the palate, this is flirtatious and moreish. Enhanced by an invigorating cool, creamy acidity. Focused, cool and crisp with beautiful balance and length. It is now well established that Central Otago produces outstanding Pinot Noir and Quartz Reef is no exception. Firm and intense with notes of ripe black cherry, pomegranate and spice, the maturing sun drenched slopes of our Bendigo Estate vineyard continues to produce Pinot Noir of exceptional expression and structure. The Quartz Reef Pinot Gris is made in a rich bone dry style which compliments foods of all flavours.
