Guigal Hermitage Rouge
E. Guigal, located in Ampuis, was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal. Since 1961 his son Marcel has led the estate, and his unparalleled work ethic and dedication to quality have brought attention to Côte-Rôtie and other appellations throughout the Rhone that were in danger of being lost, and lifted the Guigal wines to the pinnacle of the wine world. Hermitage is one of Frances most spectacular and famous appellations, producing small quantities of extraordinarily intense and age worthy red wine. 'The 2009 Hermitage possesses a dense purple color as well as lots of creme de cassis, camphor and acacia flowers. The Guigal family may be the modern worlds greatest testament to a family-run winery with impeccably high standards, integrity and an uncompromising vision of the future. They continue to push the envelope of quality to greater and greater heights.' 92-95 Points | Robert Parker.

Paul Jaboulet Crozes-Hermitage
Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the most iconic names in the Rhône Valley. Renowned for its legendary Hermitage La Chapelle, the estate manages vineyards across the Northern Rhône’s most prestigious appellations, including Saint-Péray, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie, and Hermitage. Since 2006, under the leadership of Caroline Frey, the estate has focused on a holistic approach to viticulture, resulting in wines of remarkable purity and terroir expression. From the approachable Côtes du Rhône to the iconic Hermitage La Chapelle, Paul Jaboulet Aîné remains a benchmark for the region. Charming and accessible, this 100% Syrah captures the essence of the Northern Rhône with an inviting medley of wild strawberry and brambly blackberry, layered with hints of smoked meat and savory spice. Vinified and aged for 12 months in a combination of oak and stainless steel, it delivers a juicy, well-balanced profile with velvety textures and a clean, refreshing lift. A true testament to the Jaboulet legacy, it is crafted by the same elite team behind Hermitage La Chapelle but offers the immediate, approachable appeal of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. "
