Lingo - Say it with confidence.This wine may be hard to pronounce, but the flavour rolls across the tongue. This Barbera (Ba-Bair-Ah) is Rich in blackcurrant & cassic flavours. Providing a lively palate that is followed by velvity tannins and long fresh finish.

Dark garnet. Notes of ripe plums, leather, garrigue and pepper on the nose, with ripe black cherry and a touch of candied berry on the palate. Finishes with fruit sweetness and a liquorice note with soft gripping tannins to hold it all together.

This wine is elegant and well balanced, with a good structure and aroma. Ruby red in colour with purple hues, it offers light hints of raisins, sophisticated notes of vanilla, black pepper, cloves and cinnamon. It has a long, velvety finish and soft tannins.

Ruby red of medium intensity with purplish highlights. Intense and fragrant, with dominant notes of small woodland berries accompanied by the characteristic spiciness of pepper and rosehip blossom. Located in Fumane di Valpolicella, the Allegrini family have been producing wine in the region since 1557 and today tend around 70 hectares of vines in the communes of Fumane, Sant Ambrogio and San Pietro, all situated within the Valpolicella Classico DOC. The Allegrini range includes Valpolicella, Amarone and Recioto as well as the single vineyard wines, La Grola made from Corvina, Rondinella, Syrah and Sangiovese and La Poja produced from just Corvina. Work in both the vineyard and winery is meticulous with no stone left unturned. Allegrini are considered to be one of the regions, and Italys finest producers.

Blended from the mainstay Tuscan grape variety Sangiovese and a small amount of Canaiolo, this savoury, flavoursome wine is the perfect companion for antipasto and soups.
