The 2022 Regional Sangiovese marks the 20th vintage producing this varietal, with fruit sourced primarily from the Hilltops region with a splash of Murrumbateman for elegance. After spending 3 weeks on skins as whole-berries, the wine is pressed to small 5 year old French oak casks for élevage, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Traditionally grown fruit gives enormous concentration of forest fruit, capsicum and dried spice flavours that is supported by the elegant vanilla and charred oak derived from 15 months spent in French Oak barrels.

The wine is a harmonious balance of soft rock melon and stone fruit with the finish lengthened from 6 months ageing in European Oak Barriques, adding a cashew nut and cinnamon complexity.
