Archie Rose Single Malt Whisky is distinctly crafted to highlight six malts, each with a unique profile and character. This six-malt mash bill, although incredibly low yielding, provides a rich and expressive flavour, full of distinct regional character.Matured predominantly in 100, 200 and 300-litre Australian Apera (Sherry) casks, complemented by a selection of Ex-Bourbon and Archie Roses own 36-month air dried Ex-Rye Casks, each coopered with a specific balance of both char and toast.The natural sweetness of these casks complements the savoury charisma of the spirit, revealing fresh herbs, shortbread biscuits, raisins, toffee and dark chocolate on the nose. Meanwhile, the palate is luscious with well-integrated flavours of sticky date pudding and amaretto with a final note of espresso.

Creamy mouthfeel packed full of rich dark fruits and sweet malt notes, which give way to sweet vanilla and cocoa interspersed with cinnamon spice. The whisky is matured in a combination of French and American oak ex-wine barrels plus finished in rare Morris Muscat barrels, previously used to create multi-award winning Muscat. COLOUR: Deep rich copper with reddish hues. NOSE: Rich with dates, figs and sweetness of dark molasses. PALATE: Well balanced and complex. Dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla and spices with creamy mouth feel. FINISH: Superb oak influence, lovely finish with satisfying after taste that lingers on the palate.

Sourced exclusively from cool-climate vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, this cuvée showcases the natural tension and power achieved in South Australia’s elevated sites. The winemaking team applies rigorous traditional methods. Hand-picked grapes are whole-bunch pressed directly into French oak barriques for wild fermentation on solids. Full malolactic fermentation and regular lees stirring build texture, depth and structure while preserving regional purity. The nose delivers aromas of white peach, grapefruit, toasted cashew and a signature struck-match complexity. On the palate, a rich, creamy texture balances against a driven line of natural citrus acidity, finishing with persistence and poise.

Tasmanian style apple brandy!The still is a Charentais alembic still, the design used in Normandy (France) to produce Calvados Pays d'Auge. The Charentais alembic still was designed in the early 16th century in the Cognac region of France where it is still used for fine Cognac production. They produce an aged apple brandy from their still, in the same style as Calvados. They also produce a lighter apple spirit, Charles Oates Apple Blanco, a delicately flavoured spirit.After patient ageing in ex-fortified wine barrels, casks are carefully selected and blended to produce an elegant and outstanding spirit that shows layers of baked apple, sweet caramel and fruit cake aromatics.
