Firebird Premium Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a beautiful cool-climate style Cabernet Sauvignon that has gotten better with age and is now coming into its own in terms of style and drinkability. Hand picked and fermented in small open fermentres and then maturation for close to 20 months in French oak barrels has produced a lovely medium-bodied wine with all the clasic Cabernet characters of blackcurrent, red capsicum, roasted nuts, tobacco leaf and bouguet garni with fine tannins.

Mt Difficulty Pinot Noir

The grapes for the wines that carry the Mt Difficulty Bannockburn label are subject to two strict criteria: they are managed under the umbrella of the Mt Difficulty viticultural team and must be sourced from vineyards situated on the South side of the Kawarau River at Bannockburn. This Pinot noir displays lovely elegance and flow with striking precision and clarity. On the palate it kicks off with a supple dark berry entry, moving into a beautifully textured plush mid palate, after which fine elegant textural tannins frame fruit and acidity on a lengthy finish.

Mt Difficulty is one of Central Otago's oldest and most prestigious vineyards. Having tamed the rugged region since 1992, Mt Difficulty produce wines of utmost character and charm. Their Roaring Meg Pinot Noir shows lovely perfumed blackberry and dark cherry fruits along with a hint of spice. On the palate the wine has a sweet berry character along with balanced, ripe textural tannins that rise gracefully out of the mid-palate to finish the wine.

Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Pinot Noir
