Hailing from northern Italy, the Lubiana family have been winemakers for generations. Since 1990 Stefano has continued his family's legacy in the pristine vineyards of Tasmania. The fruit for this wine comes from some of the best vineyards in Derwent River. Stefano's care and meticulous attention to detail, result in a wine of both power and elegance.

Always a Pinot of utmost power with dense, dark, brooding fruit typical of the region with the great savoury balance that is evident in great examples of the variety.

Judd, McCutcheon and Wallis are all utilised to reflect the cool-climate of Main Ridge, one of the coolest parts of the region. At play in the wine are flavours that bounce between sweet fruit and savouriness along with a length of flavour befitting a wine of such pedigree.

Savoury and spicy dry red. Earthy good value French Pinot Noir.

This Pinot Noir flaunts a beautiful ruby red colour when poured into the glass. Aromas of berries, strawberries, cherries and raspberries are offered on the nose. These fragrances make way for a fresh palate that reveals flavours of crunchy blueberries and strawberries. The flavourful palate is followed by a lengthy finish. You may pair this varietal with pasta, roasted chicken or fatty fishes.

Production: 2015 Vintage - 100 Cases Oak maturation: New & 2 Yr old French oak hogshead casks for 15 months. Handpicked and gently crushed just after dusk on a cool night. Matured in new & used French oak barrels for 15 months. A Cabernet with dense ripe red and blue lifted fruits and rich cassis and tobacco notes. Some spice mixed with earthy tones. The wine is full bodied and fruit forward with pleasing black fruit surrounding a leafy core. The tannins are fine and focused. Good cleansing acidity with an elegant but savoury finish

A complex Adelaide Hills Nebbiolo with enchanting aromatics and a long, long finish. Delightful.
