The MCB is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Barbera. The rich spicy Cabernet frrom our vineyards in the Hilltops is smoothed down with the Merlot and then a small percentage of Barbera is added to give the wine some fruit sweetness. The 2020 Garibaldi is a wine we have been contemplating producing for the past 10 years. A 50/50 blend of Nebbiolo and Shiraz made in the difficult year of 2020. The two previous years we had been in drought but this one toppped it of with only a fraction of our normal crop. So enjoy the wine, it is soft and full of fruit from the two countries that Garibaldi loved.
