Rich strawberry and cream with notes of guava are abundant on the palate which is textured and complex. A wine to be enjoyed chilled, showcasing its vibrancy.

Our Orange vineyard is situated on the volcanics slopes of Mt Canobolas in the Orange region. Grown at an altitude of 800 metres, our Riesling is a dry aromatic style with a perfumed nose of orange blossom and ginger spice that leads into a palate framed with citrus zest and a long refined finish. Enjoy in its fragrance now or cellar for further complexity

Dark and inky with a vibrant aroma of dark blue fruits and a frame of violets opens on the nose before a core of black fruits and red plums. Graphite-like tannins support with bright acidity providinga refreshing finish.

Another multi regional wine from Peppertree, the Chardonnay is a blend of Hunter Valley 50%, Wrattonbully 35% and Orange 15%. The three regions make up a wine that shows lifted aromas of white peach and pineapple, a generously fruit driven palate packed with ripe fruits balanced well by subtle barrel ferment complexity, providing a long refined finish.

A wine of its own ancestry and heritage, Barbera has continued to move from an every day drinking wine into a more cult status and we are excited by what we see off our Wrattonbully vineyard. A bright wine that opens with cherry blossom and dried herb notes enticing you down the garden path into a palate of dark cherry and forest floor earth, where you can taste the sun dried herb notes and hints of pepper. This wine is lively and refreshing, drinking exceptionally well now.

Medium bodied with bright red fruit, savoury spice and violet notes. This fruit is balanced with fine layered tannins. A wine for great texture and elegance.

Selected from the best rows off our small vineyard in the world famous Coonawarra wine region. The renowned quality of Coonawarra is a product of its thin rocky soils and underlying soft crumbly limestone which naturally produces balanced vine canopies and small crops of intensely flavoured fruit. Displaying delicate black and red fruits with lifted spice and floral notes. A finely structured Cabernet that will gain further complexity with cellaring.

Soft rounded and fruit-driven this is a good example of the approachable easy drinking Merlot variety. Generous plummy flavour with just a touch of oak and light tannins make this wine enjoyable now.</p>

Pepper Tree have quickly established themselves as one of the showcases of not only the Hunter Valley region, but the other three regions where they source premium fruit from; Orange, Wrattonbully and Coonawarra. Award winning winemaker, Jim Chatto is at the helm of this progressive winery and here he produces a Cabernet Sauvignon of upmost class and complexity. A nice nose of cassis and dark berries with a hint of oak, ripe rich fruit that fills the mouth with blackcurrants and soft tannins.
