Drumborg Vineyard has become one of Australia's premier vineyards for producing Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Always in very limited supply, the Drumborg Riesling is a delicate white with pronounced floral notes and notes of citrus zest on the nose. The palate follows through with delicate lime flavours and a trademark zippy mineral acid backbone. Wonderfully fresh and vibrant early in its life, the Drumborg Riesling is also famous for ageing exceptionally well and will further develop in the bottle for a further decade or more.

Planted in the Southern Victorian cool-climate region of Henty in 1964, the Drumborg Vineyard has become one of Australia's premier vineyards for producing Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. The complex, perfumed nose shows aromas of spiced cherry, toasty oak and complex charcuterie notes. Flavours of sour cherries and redcurrants combine with textural elements and fine, layered tannins with a backbone of spicy well-integrated French oak.

Very even and creamy with plush, mouth filling juicy fruit, in particular cherry stone and redcurrant. Complex gunflint, textural, fine grained tannins and well integrated, subtle oak adds structure and persistence and closes out the power of this wine with restrained delicacy.

Sparkling shiraz is as Australian as anything, and one of the best value is from Seppelt, with the current vintage drinking superbly. Surprisingly soft and plump with ripe and giving tannins; while it's dry, there's some sweet fruit sensation on the palate that helps with dishes that have heat spikes and spice, especially Indian. Lots of plum fruit, spice and earthy notes, too, with fine acid and the fizz hit offers a refreshing lift.

Seppelt Original Sparkling Shiraz Vintage has a nose that displays ripe refined Shiraz aromas with raspberry, cherry and spice supported by subtle oak. The palate is richly flavoured and velvety with soft effervescence and fine tannins. A classic sparkling Shiraz that is always a welcome addition to the Christmas table.
