A rounded red blend made from Grenache, Tempranillo and Malbec.

Vibrant scarlet in colour. Aromas of cassis and stewed plum with spice and chocolate. Rich cassis flavours and berry fruit aromas dominate the wine. Subtle tannins provide balance whilst the lingering dark chocolate adds an elegant finish.

Vibrant garnet with a purple hue. Aromas of lifted pepper, blue fruits, delicate spice, and a hint of violets. Dense forest fruits, elegant tannins, and a bright raspberry acidity on the finish.

Coming from 2 sites, one planted between 1860-1880 and a single vineyard approximately 85 years old both of which are dry grown and own-rooted in the deep sand of the Vine Vale. This wine is highly aromatic with a core of spicy cranberry and pomegranate, orange zest and dark earthy notes finishing on wonderful velvety tannins.

Hand selected and aged for 30 months in oak, this a wine with the power and concentration expected from Barossa

A full bodied red wine that can be enjoyed now, or if you can wait for, age between 5 to 10 years to further soften the structure and enhance complexing notes.
