Frapin sources its fruit for this fine Cognac from their family vineyards in the heart of Grande Champagne, the finest terroir in Cognac. Frapin utilizes dry-cellar aging for the Extra, allowing a higher percentage of water evaporation percentage relative to alcohol, leading to a more refined, elegant Cognac. The Extra shows complex cigar box characters, showing a sweet and complex velvety texture with layers of spice, roasted nuts and dried figs.
