Expect a spirit of tremendous structure and elegance, (not the rusticity that we have now been conditioned to expect from the Rum category), with a bright, silky palate offering waves of dried stone fruits, candied citrus, subtle resin and lifted floral notes. The finish is as fine as could be, with almost invisible spirit and a vibrantly fresh close.

Havana Club Añejo Especial is a blend of Rums aged up to five years and it is this ageing that creates the golden colour and warm aromas. Its character combines the lightness of White Rums and the robust aroma of Dark Rums.

The Transcontinental Rum Line is inspired by rum casks' historical trips between the New World and the Old Continent. From the beginning of its production, rum has always been shipped to Europe for nautical, economical and technical reasons. A subtle blend of freshness and maturity, this panama proudly asserts it numerous about-turns. One of the most radical and spectacular appears during the transition from the nose to the palate. Oak comes to the fore on the nose, with plenty of musk lollies, crème brûlée and cake spice overlying the ester characters. The palate is full and round, with lashings of butter and a nice intensity from the heat. The fruit is delicate and in the tropical spectrum and it finishes strong with a lick of macadamia nut.
