Triple maturation is the secret behind the award-winning taste of Whyte & Mackay. Firstly, the finest single malt whiskies, each individually matured for many years, are carefully selected by our Master Blender. Next, they are combined in sherry casks and matured once again to attain a perfect harmony of flavours. Finally, the blended malts are mixed with aged grain whiskies and returned to cask to mature even further. This dedication to the art of blending creates an extra smooth and richer tasting whisky. The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 years old reveals the unrivalled commitment to the mastery of wood and spirit for which The Macallan has been known since it was established in 1824. When matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, our rich, fruity and full bodied ‘new make’ spirit is transformed into a classic single malt. The sherry seasoned oak cask delivers a rich and complex single malt characterised by spice and dried fruit flavours. Deliciously smooth, with rich dried fruits and sherry, balanced with woodsmoke and spice. Archie Rose Double Malt Whisky showcases the bright, grassy fruitiness of malted rye backed up by rich aromas of Aussie fortified wine, vanilla from American oak and the smooth sweetness of local malted barley. The result is a remarkably complex whisky with notes of apricot jam smeared on toasted rye bread, fragrant oak and a hint of milk chocolate, finishing with honey-roasted macadamia nuts, ripe tropical fruits and baking spices.

Dimple is famous for not only its unique bottle shape, but by its long standing reputation for producing one of the finest blended malts available. Using malts predominantly from Glenkinchie and Linkwood, Dimple 12 Year Old is a beautifully well-rounded Scotch with surprising depth.

Released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Lagavulin distillery by John Johnston in 1816, this eight-year-old is big and smoky, with sweet spice that becomes apparent with a drop of water. Inspired by the visit of Alfred Barnard to the distillery in the 1880's when he tried an 'exceptionally fine' eight-year-old from the distillery, this is a fitting tribute for the milestone.

From the Hakushu distillery in the foothills of Mount Kaikomagatake comes their Distillers Reserve single malt whisky. A no-age statement expression that captures the smoky, herbaceous characteristics of their whiskies. Both lightly-peated and heavily peated malts were used for this complex and deeply enjoyable whisky. A hint of smoke and a lovely long finish.

Matured for over ten years in warehouse located near the sea, for a smooth tasting whisky with an air of sea salt on the finish.
