Te Mata make some sublime Bordeaux style red wines and we've been blessed in recent years with some outstanding vintages. This years release has wonderful floral aromas with intense blackberry, currant and dark plum flavours lead to a rich supple palate with a sustained finish.

The Te Mata Coleraine is concentrated and complex with elegant cassis and fine grain tannins. Close to a true Bordeaux style with the fruit being sourced from the North Island region of Hawke's Bay in New Zealand. Recommended cellaring of up to 15 years from harvest.

The Head Over Heels Cabernet Merlot has deep youthful crimson and mauve hues. The palate is medium bodied with soft tannins offering generous dark fruit flavours complemented by a dusty oak finish. This easy drinking wine is a versatile partner to a wide range of red meat and rich pasta dishes. A dry, full bodied wine made to drink now but will cellar for 2 years.

The Orange Tree Cabernet Merlot has purple hues and is medium crimson in colour. The palate has flavours of dark cherry, mulberry, and plums with velvety tannins and layers of soft oak.
