Prestige du Capitole Cabernet Sauvignon
RedHeads Princess of Thieves
A striking creature with a most lustful heart, the night is her ally in performing her craft. She strives to obtain a ruby red treasure, of unsurpassed beauty and value past measure. A calling in life, her great reason to live, she takes what she wants but chooses to give. Adrian Hoffmann is the source of the Mourvèdre and Grenache. Old vines, big flavour, just what you would expect from his Ebenezer vineyards. The other part - the Shiraz - has come from Redheads' long-time partner in crime John Kalleske over in Koonunga. Bright, lifted red fruit aromas of sweet cherry and plum combined with floral and turkish delight characters. Subtle savoury notes, dark morello cherry and red plum characters. A mid-weight GSM with softly woven tannins.
Trentham Estate The Family Moscato
This admirable drop was made using Muscat varieties Canada Muscat and White Frontignac, which are well renowned for their intense fragrant characters. Harvested in late January and early February, the grapes were de-stemmed, chilled and pressed with only the very best quality free run juice taken. This has produced a delicate, soft, well-balanced wine with superb natural sweetness and a lower level of alcohol. Pale green straw in colour with incredible aromatics of passionfruit, musk and lychee. Light and sweet on the palate with juicy tropical fruit flavours, this Moscato is bottled with a delicate spritz which makes for a very refreshing style. We love this Moscato with a gorgeous pavlova… whipped cream, passionfruit, berries and all the toppings!

Split Rock Riesling
Lovely fresh Riesling from the pioneering Seifried family estate, who set up in the super-sunny coastal region of Nelson in 1973 (way before most of Marlborough next door). In the 1970s Hermann Seifried, then a fresh-faced Austrian wine nut seeking adventure, travelled to New Zealand. It was a final stop-off on a world tour, mainly to see where the All Blacks came from. There he fell in love with a local primary school teacher, Agnes, and has never left. In 1973 the couple realised their shared dream – to plant a vineyard – and have since racked up a host of awards. Today their three children, Chris, Heidi and Anna, help run the property in Nelson – a region with over 2,400 hours of sunshine, it's the sunniest in New Zealand.
Willow Bridge 'Gravel Pit' Geographe Shiraz
Jeff and Vicky Dewar established Willow Bridge Estate after acquiring a spectacular 180ha hillside property in the Ferguson Valley. Under winemaker Kim Horton, "many of its wines offer exceptional value for money" (Halliday). This WA Shiraz from Geographe boasts aromas of black pepper, blueberry, and vanilla, with ripe blackberry circling underneath. Black plum and blackberry, showing presence on the palate, with dark olive, warming long tannin and flavoursome toasty oak in support.
Peter Lehmann Margaret Barossa Valley Semillon
This beautifully mature 2017, has a Top Gold, 7 Golds and 96pts from Halliday. "Peter Lehmann's Margaret Semillon provides complex drinking and a length of flavour that many producers aspire to. It's a regional classic, and rightly so", as Dave Brooks writes in The Halliday Wine Companion, "All lemon butter spread on freshly toasted brioche with hints of soft spice, marzipan, wildflowers, crushed stone and drying fields. Dry, savoury, long and compelling. Some crustaceans and some of this and you are in a very good place. 96pts. Great Value.”
