With the aim of paying homage to Conchi, a woman who loved French sparkling wines, Villa Conchi cava is a tribute to women around the world. A careful selection of vineyards in the heart of Catalunya, protected by the mountain of Montserrat, has been the main focus for the production of Villa Conchi. Their cavas aim to present a fresher style from a Mediterranean climate. 30% Xarel, 30% Parellada, 30% Macabeo, 10% Chardonnay, aged in bottle for a minimum of 12 months.Colour: Brilliant green and gold color. Good winter rains set the vines up well for the ensuing dry, warm growing season. The ripening period was characterised again by warm, dry condition without excessive heat which gifted us rich, opulent reds with well-balanced structure. The moderate weather allowed us to harvest fruit at optimal ripeness. The Shiraz in particular demonstrates rafts of blackberry, fennel and earthy characters, typical hallmarks of a classic d’Arenberg red. While one stepped on the barren lunar surface, the other stepped on rich terra rossa soils with the hope and determination to craft wines to rival the world's best. Taylors One Small Step Shiraz is a medium bodied wine with a lively palate of juicy red berry fruits, fine gentle tannins and a soft silky finish. This is an immediately approachable wine that exhibits all the hallmarks of classic Australian Shiraz with a core of rich varietal fruit and a vibrant spicy character that just begs to be drunk!

Displays classic Chardonnay characters of white peach, nectarine and fresh figs. The palate is fresh and vibrant with fruit flavours of citrus and white peach. Maturation in French oak provides subtle nutmeg and clove characters on the palate, while a clean slatey acid backbone provides length and structure to the wine. The wine is complex with no single character dominating the wine. The flavour of the wine persists long after it has left the mouth.
