Bekkers Grenache McLaren Vale Sourced from three distinct vineyards of varying personality owning to rocky outcrops to ancient beach sands. Picked by hand, the fruit is vinified with 20% whole bunches and cold soaked for 5-6 days before natural fermentation and being basket pressed to aged French oak 500L puncheons. Hand picked low yielding vines producing a wine with increased intensity of aroma, flavour, texture and length. Hand picked and fermented with indigenous yeast and matured in French oak for two years..

Apsley Gorge Vineyard Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark to brick red hue. Elevated aromas of ripe dark cherries intermix with anise, earthy notes, some meatiness and spicy cedar. Quite rich and full the palate is laden with ripe black cherry and anise flavours which overlay a back drop of toasty cedar, dried meats and earth. Spicy finish with sturdy, slightly grainy tannins. Long spicy black cherry and anise aftertaste.

Shaw & Smith Lenswood Vineyard Chardonnay

A fine-boned Chardonnay that reflects vintage conditions and the character of a unique vineyard site purchased by Shaw + Smith in 2012. Inaugural vintage: 2014. Planted in 1999, the vineyard has east and west facing aspects and reaches 500 meters above sea level. The soil is brown loam over clay with some broken shale and stone on the ridges. The wine is100% hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, then fermented and matured on lees in 500-litre French oak puncheons (30% new) for 9 months.

Head The Brunette Shiraz

Colour is deep red. The nose shows aniseed, tar, FruChocs and spicy oak. The fine palate entry has mulberry, cranberry, aniseed and liquorice flowing delicately with Rhone-like spicy, chewy, savoury tannins.
