M chapoutier Ermitage de L'Oree Blanc
One of the longest-lived white wines in France, the extremely rare M.Chapoutier Ermitage de lOrée is a single varietal Marsanne sourced from a single vineyard Murets plot at the eastern edge of the Hill of Hermitage. Orée means edge in French and is also a reference to the colour of the wine as or in French means gold. Rich, full-bodied and immensely complex, Ermitage de lOrée has the structure and concentration to age often well beyond 50 years.
Domaine Michelot Meursault Les Narvaux
This parcel is located on the upper slopes above the Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières appellation. The clay/limestone soil has a subsoil of extremely hard white rock riddled with fissures. These allow the roots to circulate through the white limestone. The parcels southern exposure, coupled with a steady 20% slope, affords the grapes excellent ventilation leading to a harvest that is both ripe and healthy. The wine often presents aromas of candied orange (or other citrus fruits) on the nose and in the mouth.

Bass Phillip Wines Gamay
A typically uncompromising Gamay from Phillip Jones, best known for his Pinot Noirs, made from vines planted at Leongatha in South Gippsland at high density (9000 vines per ha). A light, fine wine with aromas of dark and sour cherries and spice, with great freshness, plus a steely backbone of natural acidity. The palate is long and lean and finishes clean and fresh.
