Muscats from Rutherglen are made in a style like no other as a result of the unique combination of climate, grape variety, soils and most of all, the reserved stocks and unsurpassed blending skills to create Muscats that are rich, complex and intense.

Penfolds Fortified Grandfather Tawny has intense nose with fruitcake, liquorice, raisin, and roasted walnuts all blending together with a seamless freshness contradicting age. A classic Penfolds palate with fruitcake, liquorice and vanillin oak flavours with a sweet full and round mid-palate, and a finish that persists on and on. With each vintage, varietal batches are selected for Grandfather. These batches are individually aged in seasoned old oak casks before being blended together at 14 years of age. This blend is then introduced into the ‘Grandfather Solera’.

Complex aromas of raisin and maple lead in to a rich, luscious palate of dried fruits, toasted nuts and hints of smooth chocolate. Extended barrel maturation in old oak provides soft, mellow flavours and classic aged fortified characters.

The Reserve Tawny is the next generation for Minchinbury with a mouthfeel full of spicy red berries , milk chocolate and hazelnuts are apparent with some sweetness but this is balanced by clean acid and a fine tannin backbone.

Bouquet: Elevated aromas of coffee bean and mocha, complemented by subtle notes of creamy chocolate. Palate: Rich and indulgent, showcasing flavours reminiscent of Kopiko candy, coffee, and chocolate, seamlessly intertwined with notes of raisins and vanilla derived from the Tawny wine base. How to enjoy: The ultimate mixer to create a Biscoff Espresso Martini, White Russian or a good old fashioned Espresso Martini. This Ginger Wine has lifted spice aromas with candied ginger nuances. Slightly sweet on the palate with pronounced fiery, ginger root, raisins and pepper characters. Subtle citrus flavours of lemon rind are present; while the sweetness appears more like fresh honey leaving a warm and balanced taste to finish.

From the most iconic of all Australian producers, Penfolds Club Port is Australia's most loved Tawny noted for its mellowness and consistency of quality. Its a great blend of young barrel matured tawny aged in the Barossa Valley.
